• Crowley ISD Seeks Input for Campus Turnaround Plan
Crowley ISD strives to provide our students with excellence in education so that all students achieve their full potential. In the effort to improve student success, our district is committed to making ongoing updates to our instructional programs. The campus turnaround plan is one such effort.

What is a turnaround plan and which campus is affected?
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has identified one (1) Crowley ISD school as a “turnaround campus” – J.A. Hargrave Elementary School. Based on student achievement levels below what our district considers acceptable, TEA has rated this school “Improvement Required” or – IR - for two consecutive school years. According to TEA mandates, the district leadership and the administrators of J.A. Hargrave Elementary School are required to create a turnaround plan listing the actions that must take place to improve student achievement.

    Your input is needed
Parents, staff and community members are encouraged to provide suggestions and recommend what they feel should be included in the campus turnaround plan. Areas where suggestions are welcome include the following: discipline and classroom management concerns, specific school programs and practices that need improvement, possible solutions to problems and ideas for overall campus improvement.
