Charles Lincoln, M.Ed.
Executive Director of Athletics
Charles Lincoln has overseen the athletics department in Crowley ISD since 2005. In that role, he supervises approximately 125 staff members and 2,400 student-athletes. His responsibilities include monitoring and controlling a large budget, assisting in scheduling athletic events, as well as working with teachers and administration to ensure that CISD student-athletes meet the academic goals of the district and state.
Lincoln has more than 30 years of educational experience that spans across three different school districts. His first 13 years were spent in Fort Worth ISD as a teacher and basketball coach at Paschal High School, Polytechnic High School and Western Hills High School. Lincoln would later move on to coach at L.D. Bell High School, which was followed by a stint as assistant principal of Bellaire Elementary in Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD. He came to Crowley ISD in 2000 and served as an assistant principal at H.F. Stevens Middle School and principal at Oakmont Elementary.
He attended Baylor University on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a degree in education. Lincoln also has a graduate degree in educational leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is happily married to Vivian Lincoln, principal at CISD’s Jackie Carden Elementary. They have four children, two who which graduated from North Crowley High School, and a grandson who attends Crowley ISD schools. He enjoys working out, playing golf and spending time with his family.
